We received an email from BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina saying they are going to aggregate group health plan data across the state/market level and not report by plan. Is this allowed, or does it need to be specifically reported per plan/client?
Yes, aggregating data at the state/market level is permitted. The reporting instructions explain the aggregated reporting and provide some examples.
